For the second year running, eight Beckons lodges have been recognized in the MICHELIN Key Hotels list - and this year, Southern Ocean Lodge has been awarded Three Keys.

Southern Ocean Lodge is ...Read moreone of just two new Three-Key properties in Oceania, with MICHELIN inspectors describing it as a shining example of creative modern architecture in a remote and rugged locale, with exceptional opportunities for wildlife and nature experiences.
Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge and Tierra Hotels Patagonia have both retained their Three Keys, while Longitude 131°, Capella Lodge, Silky Oaks Lodge and Huka Lodge have each held their Two Keys. Tierra Hotels Atacama has also moved up, from One Key to Two.
That means all eight Beckons lodges recognized in the MICHELIN Keys now hold either Two or Three Keys - representing an exceptional stay that is unique in every way, or the extraordinary kind of experience MICHELIN describes as a destination for the trip of a lifetime.
