Meet Darcy! 🍷🍇

Barossa born and bred, and a key member of The Louise team. Since joining in August 2023 as a Food & Beverage Attendant, Darcy has been on a fast (and well-deserved) rise, bringing his signature energy to Guest Services in May 2024, stepping up as Food & ...Beverage Supervisor in July 2025, and now thriving as Duty Manager.

As Duty Manager, Darcy works across all departments, supporting our Heads of Department and General Manager with ease, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude that never goes unnoticed. He also champions several key initiatives, including his roles as our Maggie Beer Foundation Champion and Cellar-Masters List Champion.

Darcy’s passion for the Barossa is unmatched and his gift for storytelling has made him a guest favourite, earning him the accolade of most recognised team member by name in post-stay surveys.

Reliable, passionate and an all-round joy to work with, Darcy is the kind of team member who makes every day at The Louise just that little bit brighter. With his sights set on a Head of Department role next, we’re proud to support his continued growth and development

From São Paulo to Rio, Beckons made its debut in Brazil with four vibrant events for top local trade and media 🇧🇷

Regional Commercial Manager Fiona Martin led a week of connection and storytelling, introducing Beckons to journalists, travel advisors and industry partners through a ...series of memorable lunches and dinners in some of Brazil’s most celebrated venues.

Highlights included a Michelin-starred tasting lunch at @evvai_sp, a trade gathering at @sohohousesaopaulo, followed by events at @fasanorio and @restaurantelasai in Rio de Janeiro.

The energy throughout the week was unmistakable, with strong engagement, social buzz and plenty of enthusiasm for the Beckons story.
